CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstract submission deadline is December 13, 2024.

The 2025 Pacific Fisheries Technologists Annual Conference will be held February 16 thru February 19 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. On behalf of the PFT 2025 Organizing Committee, we invite submissions of abstracts for oral/poster presentations from members of the seafood research community, industry, and government agencies. Presentations are invited on any topics dealing with all sectors of seafood science, technology, and current affairs related to seafood. Topics of interest include but not are limited to:

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Program Review Committee. Based on the review, accepted abstracts will be assigned to either an oral or a poster session. While Presenter’s stated preferences for a session will be considered, the final assignment will be made based on Program needs. All accepted abstracts will be published in the PFT 2025 conference book.

To ensure consideration for the PFT 2025 conference program, please submit your abstract as early as possible as abstract acceptance will be given on a rolling basis to help accommodate visa needs of our international attendees.

Student Competition

Student presenters are invited to participate in oral or poster competitions. Six student paper competition awards are available to recognize the top three oral and top three poster presentations. If you qualify and would like to participate in the student competition, please state this in your abstract.
