Abstract Guidelines
- Abstract should contain five sections: introduction, objective(s), brief materials & methods, results & discussion, and conclusion(s).
- Type your abstract on one page in English using 250 or fewer words.
- Use 12 point Times New Roman font in a justified format.
- Use 25mm (1 inch) margins – top, bottom and sides.
- List the title in bold letters. Use justified format.
- List the authors’ names and affiliations on a separate line beneath the title and indicate the presenter with an asterisk (*).
- Below the abstract, state whether you would prefer the abstract to be considered for a poster presentation, an in-person oral presentation or a virtual oral presentation.
- If you are a student, state whether you would like your abstract to participate in the student competition.
- To ensure consideration for the PFT 2024 conference program, please submit your abstract as a pdf document to the Scientific Program Chair,
Garrett Evridge, no later than Monday January 22, 2024.
- For oral presentations: Presentation time is limited to 15 minutes with 5 minutes allotted for questions and answers from the audience for a total time of 20 minutes.
- For oral presentations: Presentation slides will be due to Technical Program Chair no later than Sunday February 4, 2024.
