Presentations are invited on any topics dealing with all sectors of seafood science, technology, and current affairs related to seafood. Topics of interest include but not are limited to:
- Seafood safety and quality
- Environmental issues and sustainability
- Resource utilization and aquaculture products
- Value-added products, including novel seafood protein and plant products
- Traceability
- Compliance and regulatory topics
Please submit an abstract for your presentation to the Scientific Program Director
Garrett Evridge for consideration. Guidelines for preparing an abstract can be found here. Abstract examples may be found in the PFT 2023 Program Book pages 27 thru 68.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Program Review Committee. Based on the review, accepted abstracts will be assigned to either an oral or a poster session. While Presenter’s stated preferences for a session will be considered, the final assignment will be made based on Program needs. All accepted abstracts will be published in the PFT 2024 conference book.
To ensure consideration for the PFT 2024 conference program, please submit your abstract as early as possible as abstract acceptance will be given on a rolling basis to help accommodate visa needs of our international attendees.
