PFT 2020 71st Pacific Fisheries Technologists Conference

Pacific Fisheries Technologists (PFT) is group of individuals interested in fisheries technology and the products made from fishery resources.

PFT facilitates the exchange of technical and scientific information among fisheries technologists, and those interested in fisheries technology, by organizing annual conferences for presentations of scientific papers, discussions of technical scientific matters relating to fishery industries, and the formation of collaborations between research institutes, universities, and governmental agencies engaged in fisheries work. PFT volunteers organize an annual conference in a six-year rotation between: (1) British Columbia, (2) Alaska, (3) Mexico, (4) California, (5) Oregon and (6) Washington. The conferences typically occur in February and have a late Sunday to noon Wednesday program. The proceedings of recent meetings can be found here:
