The Pacific Fisheries Technologists’ (PFT) are proud to be holding their 62nd Annual Conference in Vancouver, BC, in February 2011. The PFT is made-up of an erudite and pragmatic mix of people from Alaska to Mexico and beyond, representing academia, government agencies, seafood suppliers, and seafood processors. We meet annually in a different city on the Pacific West Coast to discuss and learn about various “hot” topics affecting the seafood industry. 

We are structuring the 2011 Annual PFT Conference around a sustainability theme. We aim to have presentations and panel discussions ranging from pure research through innovations, worldwide regulations, economic considerations, quality, product safety, and future trends.
