Welcome to PFT 2014!

The 65th Pacific Fisheries Technologists (PFT) conference will be held February 23-26, 2014 at the Monterey Marriott at 350 Calle Principal, Monterey, California. Monterey is a wonderful destination with plenty to see and do, and with well-known historical ties to the Pacific fishing industry.

As in the past, the 4-day conference will feature an exciting line up of plenary speakers to help stimulate new thinking and collaborative conversations about new seafood developments. This year, our keynote speakers will address how we can work together to create sustainable, safe and health-promoting seafood products that meet the needs of modern consumers. We hope that you will join us, to share your knowledge, extend your professional networks and build collaborative linkages with like-minded people from industry, government and the research community.
